3CXPhone for 3CX Phone System 12 App Reviews

A perfect addition. I missed the my phone on my 3cxphone to see my colleges status and the ability to alter my call frwd rule from my phone beside making calls. This is by far the most advanced VoIP and presence client I know. It does req. an update of the phone system but the old version was based on silver light and I guess this was not ported by ms to iOS and so could not be used for any future implementation. Lovely to see that a company is still undergoing massive changes to for fill clients needs and wishes. I am amazed.

This is ridiculous. The update to v12 of the system introduced crashes, freezes and poorer overall performance of the iOS app. Maybe it is time that 3cx starts hiring better ios developers. Our company already regrets the upgrade to v12.

Call canceling doesnt work. The app is also crashing very often. Im using an iPhone 6 with newest iOS version.

I have the latest three CX server and this SOFT PHONE is very unstable! Crashes often, fails to ring at appropriate times! Generally unreliable, the associated Tunnel makes it even worse. Very disappointing! The app for the Mac is stable and seems to function properly!

Not compatible with iOS 8.1 as push notifications and contacts do not show. Not even in privacy!!! Please fix

This version of this app does not work properly with the iPhone6. If this app is on, but in the background the 3CX push technology cannot trigger an alert. Calls will not go through on the iPhone6 unless the app is in the foreground, which of course is almost never.

Cant connect. IPhone version is working better

It doesnt work at all!!! Previously used version 1.1.5 it was just perfect! Put it back!!!

1.1.5 was perfect. This one crash instantly, some functional is missing too.

Not working correctly with server 12.0 and 12.5. Please, return the version client 12.0.5

I normally keep negative reviews to myself... but since Ive paid hard cash for a 3cx pbx phone system,currently installed under v10, I feel its ridiculous that 3cx makes this app purposefully not work with their own previous builds. The currently compatible version for v10 of the iPhone app has been only minimally useful since it has always periodically lost its mind or crashed under actual use. So, 3cx has gone from releasing a generic VoIP client that worked with even competitors products to one thats not even compatible with the previous release of their own software! Not cool.

Presence is not working with my phone system version 12 commercial version. Push notification will it work good , the 3cx phone app works better with push as it always on hook this one will go out of hook as soon as you press home button.

Is also very buggy, lags when switching screens, and sip doesnt seem to work.

I am a 3CX Reseller and Im running an Iphone 4s with Verizon and one with ATT. Side by side they work in office on wifi but Verizon crashes here and there, ATT phone barely crashes. When I take them off the wifi and use the out of office connection the ATT iphone works flawless but the Verizon cant connect and frequently crashes trying to connect. FIX THIS!!!!

This app would be perfect but calls do not come through when the app is minimized or the phone is locked. Ive used the other 3CX app before I upgraded to 12 and it was not an issue. How could this have been overlooked? And yes, my notifications are enabled.

3cxphone is so bad that our provider actually urged us not to use it until the company gets it together. The iOS version just doesnt work, and the Mac (alpha) version does not work well. If you want to use this, plan on waiting until they can turn out something that works.

I have been using 3CXPhone 1.1.5 on my iPhone and it works fine with 3CX Phone System 12 SP6 (pro). I have found that it is no longer available for download. I downloaded this version of 3CX Phone for our Version 12 Sp6 system and clicked my configuration file in my email.. It configured 3CXPhone but will not connect. It just states "Connecting out of office" then "Not registered". 3CXPhone on my desktop at home will connect just fine. If I try to tell this app its "In Office" or "Out of Office" it just crashes. I hope this is fixed soon as it is unusable in its current state. IPhone 5s.

Let us list what’s wrong with this app. Actually it would be easier to list what actually worked with this app. How about nothing! Crashes consistently. No incoming audio. Doesn’t register to a approved 3CX reseller. Takes for ever to initiate the call after pressing the call button. None of our users here have been able to get it to work, including the IT guys. Steer clear and try to find an alternative.

Please integrate the tunnel directly into the app. Cant see any reason why it requires 2 apps to make a call.
